Anyone headed to RV?

Hey everyone my sister is moving to Colorado next weekend so my mom is going to see her this weekend. She is wanting to stay the week but her ride is coming back Sunday so I am wondering if anyone, Heidi or Heather going to RV next weekend (the 27th) and wouldn't mind bringing my mom with you. I know the chances are slim that you are actually going but I thought I would ask! Thank you. Love you all and hope everyone is doing good.

What a weekend!

Hello family!
I SHOULD be studying my little guts out right now, but I'm finding it hard to concentrate at the moment. I thought I'd just take a minute to update everyone on my extremely interesting life.....ha ha ya right. This past week has been quite enjoyable though. The other night my roommate and I got an itchin' to do some good ol' fashioned tie dying! So off to walmart we went. We picked up the tie dye kit, a pack of white sports bras, a pack of white underwear, white turtlenecks and these really awesome/awful sparkly tank tops that we had been wanting for MONTHS! We went back to the house and got started! I'll tell ya tie dying is about the greatest motivation to wake up the next day that I can think of. I could hardly sleep from the anticipation! And of course we were not disappointed. They turned out SUPER awesome. We didn't really like the turtlenecks, so we cut the neck part off and use it as headbands. Creative, we know. See pictures below....they'll blow your mind
This past weekend was president's day, and to celebrate RiKelle and I went to St. George with her family to participate in the parade of homes......WOW. Let me tell ya' these people know how to build some houses. There was this one house that was 19,000 square feet! It was HUGE. It had a half basketball court, FULL BLOWN racquet ball court, rock climbing wall, and putting range in the basement. I can't even describe how awesome this house was. It had this little play room for the kids that was ALL harry potter and they had painted it like it was diagon alley complete with the hogwarts express and everything. And all of this can be yours for only 3.5 million. A bargain if you ask me......Anyway I wish I would have gotten pictures. We also went hiking and it was amazing! NO SNOW TO BE SEEN! I almost forgot what it was like to live without the stuff, then I came back to logan.
Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that Tami got engaged this weekend. Her wedding is May 8th or something like that. Little Tami is growing up. I'm a little weirded out by it, but mostly extremely happy for her! Anyway that's all that is going on in my life. School is lame and I hate it more and more everyday. This is a bad week so my hatred is running pretty deep at the moment. I have to talk in church on sunday and I want to cry. I hate speaking in public. My voice shakes and I squeak. It's lame. Anyway I love you all and hope everyone is having a wonderful February!

Me, RiKelle, and her friend Cora.

Just me being Simba on Pride Rock!

Look at that view, and best part.......... NO SNOW!!!!

Yay for tie dye!

Our awesome headbands.......

News on Gramps

Hey fam,

I just got off the phone with Mom and seeing as how her computer is still on the fritz she asked me to pass on the message about Grandpa. His tests came back and they were all good, so they think it's one of his many medications. They are in the process of taking him off certain ones to see if that helps. He's already doing so much better. Good news for him!
Also, I just wanted to tell you guys about an experience I had the other day. I would consider myself to be moderately active. I mean I work out, but I could be much better. Well the other day I went into the wellness center here on campus to talk to my new clients for this semester. They aren't really my clients seeing as how I just assist the RD here on campus, but I think of them as my patients. Well, this new case that we have is a 19 year old girl who has been morbidly obese her entire life. She was telling us that she doesn't even know what it feels like to walk from one end of the room to the other without being out of breath. She has never gone running, swimming, biking, dancing or any of the fun things that I take for granted everyday! So, after we had our consultation with her I did her fat fold measurements. That was one of the hardest ones I have ever had to do! I've done them so many times before, but not someone so big and so close to my age. After she left the RD and I were in shock. Her story is so sad and she has all sorts of diseases and health problems. So, anyway it just really made me appreciate my body, and the fact that I can MOVE. In celebration of my new epiphany, I am planning on running a half marathon in April. I just started training. Ha ha a half marathon isn't even far especially to Jason cause he did a MARATHON and Heidi who runs like a mad man. But it's a big step for me. So don't let me slack. We could all run a 1/2 marathon as a family! Celebrate being able to get out of bed in the morning! If there are any of you out there that want to join let me know! I have a training schedule with your name on it!
Anyway. That's pretty much all that's been going on with me. I hope everyone is doing great! Love you all mucho!
