New Temples

So I was looking at the Church website seeing if by chance they had finally anounced a temple for Brasilia when I saw that they had announced 2 new temples, but not in Brasil. You guys probably already knew, and have just failed to relay the news, but they announced a new temple for Gilbert, and one for the Gila Valley. I thought it was pretty cool.

PS this is Jason

That is pretty cool! I can't believe there are enough mormons in Arizona to have 2 knew temples! That's pretty sweet!

BTW, it's good to hear from you Jason, you don't get on here much so it's nice when you finally participate in family activities! =)

Yes, we failed to relay the news. The Gilbert one will be close to my house: Greenfield and Pecos. It's close to the Costco, if you know where that is. Pretty cool, huh! I feel a bit undeserving and spoiled...Mesa is so close.

Sorry you didn't know, and we didn't say anything. Heather told me. We also discussed it at church on Sunday. I hear the Gila valley is very excited. Supposedly, an apostle said there would be one there years ago. They were a bit miffed when we got the Snowflake Temple. That, of course, is all rumor, but I found it interesting.

I bet Gila valley is super excited. They apparently brag about the fact that Henry Eyring dedicated the clock tower on EAs campus... I mean, it is cool if it is true, but seemed like a random thing to dedicate. Now they can have a temple close by that everyone will actually believe/know was dedicated by a prophet. haha...
